The new X30 looks like its predecessor, the old X3i, but a look under its hood reveals improvements that include both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as Intel's new PXA 270 processor.
No differences on the outside between the old Axim X3i and new X30
Intel's new PXA 270 processor, everybody knows , can take advantage of the new power saving technology called wireless SpeedStep. In addition, the new CPU can also handle MMX commands, which should make it easier to port and develop multimedia applications for the PDA. Intel calls this wireless MMX, or wMMX for short.
As fast as a notebook: Power consumption can be controlled via the operating system or manually.
